Let us be prayerfully

➖➖➖

*PREPARING FOR QIYYAMAH*

*Prohibitions of Allaah (ﷻ)*

➖➖➖

*Abstaining from Slander as it is Prohibited by Allaah (ﷻ)*

As human beings, each of us has an inherent tendency to deviate from the straight path to do stupid things, awkward things. Not a day passes when a person can be certain that.... _*“today I have made no mistakes....today I have not sinned”*_

__

At times we are oblivious of the fact that we are doing wrong, and at times we consciously and deliberately do things we know we ought not to. These wrongs may cause agony to others or even bring physical pain and suffering to them.

__

Some people go about repeating the words of others to cause trouble between them; this is one of the greatest causes of broken relations and stirring up feelings of hatred among people. Allaah (ﷻ) the owner of our souls condemned the one who does this, saying; *And do not obey every worthless habitual swearer, - [And] scorner, going about with malicious gossip.*

(Al-Qalam 68:10-11)

__

In regards, Hudhaifa (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said; *_“No eavesdropper will enter Paradise.”_*

(Sahih al-Bukhari 6056, Sahih Muslim 105, al-Fat-h, 10/472)

*Eavesdropper* here refers to a person who eavesdrops on others without their knowledge, then goes and tells others what he has heard.

Also, Ibn `Abbas, (رضي الله عنه) narrated that; *_“The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) passed by one of the gardens of Madeenah and heard the sound of two people being punished in their graves._* The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said; *_'They are being punished, but they are not being punished for any major sin; one of them used never to clean himself properly after urinating, and the other used to spread malicious slander'_*

(Sahih al-Bukhari 6052. Book 78, Hadith 82, Fat-h al-Baari, 1/317)

It was also narrated from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said; *_“Beware of suspicion (about others), as suspicion is the falsest talk, and do not spy upon each other, and do not listen to the evil talk of the people about others' affairs, and do not have enmity with one another, but be brothers. And none should ask for the hand of a girl who is already engaged to his (Muslim) brother, but one should wait till the first suitor marries her or leaves her.”_*

(Sahih al-Bukhari 5143. Book 67, Hadith 79)

__

One of the worst forms of this sin is to cause trouble between a husband and wife, or vice versa, or to tell one's boss what other employees are saying, in order to create trouble. All of this is Haraam and highly prohibited by Allaah (ﷻ).

__

The believers in their mutual love, mercy, and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with sleeplessness and fever. So let abstain from this habit before it is too late.

May Allaah (ﷻ) save us from this habit and save us from Hellfire.

*آمين يا رب العالمين*
